how it all
Sierra Ellis’ path to photography began with an evolving creative foundation. After studying pre-med, she shifted directions and earned a degree rooted in fine art and design, where a required photography course reshaped how she saw the world. What started as an exploration of light and composition quickly became a way of telling stories through imagery.
Her first wedding introduced the responsibility and beauty of documenting a day that matters deeply. Since then, Sierra has photographed more than 200 weddings, guided by a fine art perspective and an editorial sensibility, creating timeless imagery that feels both intentional and personal.
