Bonneville Salt Flats Engagement Session

Recently, I had the opportunity to travel to Utah from Oklahoma to capture an engagement session on the glorious Bonneville Salt Flats. It was a magnificent experience that I would never forget.

The travel was long but well worth it. Finally, I settled into the drive to the airport and the flight that ensued (with a quick layover in Arizona, which even though a layover isn’t the most ideal, I really enjoyed being back in one of my favorite places, even if it was just in the airport). I was overcome with a feeling of freedom that can only be found with a long voyage such as this.

When I arrived at the Bonneville Salt Flats, I was in awe. The expansive landscape was immaculate, and the crystalline surface of the salt was untouched by human hands. I immediately knew I was in the right place for this engagement session.

The couple was beyond ecstatic to have their engagement session taken in such a magical setting. We strolled around the flats, the fine white salt beneath our feet, and enjoyed the peacefulness of the environment. We ventured to a few places within the salt flats, but the most remarkable spot was the mountains in the background. From that vantage point, the view was ethereal. It was a breathtaking experience!

The photos from the session have turned out spectacularly. The Bonneville Salt Flats were the ideal backdrop to capture such a special moment in the couple’s life. Traveling to Utah to capture these photos was definitely worth the effort. I am so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to travel to the Bonneville Salt Flats again!
