Brace yourselves: you’re about to witness the cutest lovebird duo ever! I’m drawn to this destination engagement session, not just because of the couple’s adorableness, but because as a professional photographer I relish any chance to explore new locations. For this shoot, I chose the Wichita Wildlife Refuge in Lawton, Oklahoma – an 8-hour roundtrip, but a journey I was more than willing to make. And I do more than just driving: I’m also available for distant weddings! I’m passionate about traveling and destination photography, and this couple was no exception.

The Wichita Wildlife Refuge is ideal for a destination engagement photo session – its rocks and textures are perfect for framing intimate moments, while its golden hour sunsets couldn’t be beat. Brittany and Dalon were a joy to photograph – even with the wind, they kept easy-going and just enjoyed the moment. They felt comfortable enough to be themselves and let their authentic moments take center stage. It was a real treat for me as a photographer!
