What a whirlwind August has been! While I thought I was going to spend the hot summer months catching up on updating my website and all things social, things didn’t exactly go as planned in the best possible way. I feel like I have neglected all of the work on the back end this past month, and I guess it’ll just have to stay on my business to-do list a little longer because… at the beginning of the month, I had the chance to live out the destination wedding photography life I plan on continuing and capture Brittany and Jared’s elopement in Santorini, Greece!
It was a last-minute decision for them to elope, and I’m so thankful they took me along. I’m also super glad that I decided to renew my passport last year so I could get more into destination wedding photography and elopements (not-so-subtle hint for all of you guys reading this considering eloping or a destination wedding. I am available for destination wedding photography and elopements worldwide).
I don’t even know how to begin to describe how incredible their wedding was. It overlooked the volcanic islands, the vows were so lovely, and even though there were just a few people there, I was overwhelmed by the love surrounding this sweet couple. After their ceremony, cake, a champagne toast, and first dance, we finished the day visiting Oia and Megalochori to get some stunning wedding portraits.
I will forever cherish how this trip has reignited my love for travel. London and Paris are already on the books for 2023 for a few more destination wedding and engagement sessions. So while I could go on and on about how gorgeous the island is or how incredible the food was, I’ll just let their pictures do the talking for me! I hope you guys enjoy this short scroll through their magical day!
